AG Car for Christmas!

American Girl Julie's Car

All the excess of Christmas this year left my head spinning.  But it was simply spectacular to watch my daughter open American Girl gifts.  The delight on her face—priceless.  The delight on my face- nearly priceless.  The big gift, thanks to a great American Girl sale before Christmas was Julie’s Volkswagen.  First of all the box it arrived in was enormous, large enough to hold layers of Styrofoam and a very heavy bodied car.  I had to wrap this box right away when it arrived.  There was simply no way to stow it away under a bed or in a closet like most gifts, it was simply too large.  The blue paint is beautiful.  My daughter nearly immediately took Saige for a spin, but also packed her stuffed animals and Barbies in to take them for a ride, too.  My one complaint is that the doors don't open.
