I have to say I am disappointed that the American Girl of the Year selections continue to lack diversity.  There have been 13 Girls of the Year.  Of these 13- 6 have had brown hair, 5 blonde hair and 2 red hair.  Of the 13, more half, 6 have had blue eyes, 4 hazel and just 3 with brown eyes.  The combination of brown hair with brown eyes has only happened twice, once with Marisol Luna and once with Jess McConnell.  I would really like to see a broader variation, perhaps an F0935 or an F1265?
